Services
Four disciplines, one practitioner — built to get you ranking higher, spending smarter, and reporting numbers you can trust.
Technical SEO
Site health, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, structured data and migrations — fixed at the root, not patched at the surface with a generic titles-and-meta-tags checklist.
- Written audit report with root causes, not just a checklist
- Prioritised fix backlog your dev team can action directly
- Migration or re-platform pre/post checklist where relevant
- Before/after tracking once fixes ship
Content Strategy
Topic architecture and content that ranks and reads like it was written by a practitioner.
- Topic architecture map
- Prioritised content briefs
- Internal linking plan
PPC
Campaign structure and budget audits that find the spend that isn't earning its keep.
- Account audit report
- Restructure/implementation plan
- Ongoing reporting dashboard
Analytics
GA4 and attribution set up so the numbers you report are numbers you can trust.
- GA4 configuration audit report
- Fix implementation
- Reporting dashboard
Why work with Paul Lovell
Every engagement is built around one goal: measurable organic growth you can point to, not activity for its own sake.
Traffic that recovers and holds
Fixes target the root cause, not the symptom — so recovered rankings don't slide back in three months.
Reports you can act on, not just read
Every finding is ranked by revenue impact and handed to your team as a backlog, not a 40-page PDF.
Numbers you can actually trust
Analytics and attribution audited alongside SEO/PPC, so the reporting behind every decision is reliable.

How an engagement runs
1. Enquiry & fit call
A short call to establish what's actually broken (or suspected broken) and whether I'm the right person for it — no discovery-call sales pitch, just scoping.
2. Audit
Full-site crawl, log-file analysis, GA4/tracking review — whatever the service line requires — to find root causes, not just symptoms.
3. Prioritised plan
A fix backlog ranked by traffic/revenue impact, written so your dev team or in-house marketer can action it directly.
4. Implementation support
Hands-on help shipping the fixes that need a second pair of eyes, plus re-crawl/re-check to confirm they worked.
5. Reporting
Before/after tracking against the numbers that mattered at the start — not vanity metrics introduced after the fact.
Frequently asked
What's the difference between hiring an agency and hiring you directly?
An agency spreads accounts across a team running a standard checklist. I do the audit, log-file analysis, and root-cause diagnosis personally — findings are specific to your site's actual crawl and index behaviour, not a template.
Do you work across SEO, PPC, and analytics, or should I hire separately for each?
Both, depending on the problem. A lot of what looks like an SEO issue is actually a tracking or attribution issue, so having one person who can audit all three often finds root causes a single-discipline specialist would miss.
How long before I see results?
Simple fixes can be recrawled and reflected within days to a couple of weeks. Structural issues — crawl budget waste, a botched migration, JS-rendering gaps — usually take 4-8 weeks once fixed, because Google needs to recrawl and re-evaluate at scale.
